  2. I hope you are having an amazing trip so far. Today as you guys dedicate your houses I pray that God reveals himself to you and everyone around you. I pray the families will commit themselves to God and that their lives and the teams lives will be forever changed!!!

    • So far it has been more than amazing Jamie! Dedication was unbelievable. You saw my FB Post 🙂 I’ve seen God revealed in ways I never expected and have never seen before … quite amazing.

  3. I’m glad to hear that you arrived safely. I will be praying that you will enjoy your your time while working as the hands and feet of Jesus.! I hope you experience many life changing experiences. Take care, Kasey Holmes

  4. We are thrilled that you were able to go on this trip and we pray for you daily (sometimes hourly). Can’t wait to hear from you about your experience!

    • I am so happy I was able to do this Jean. I thank you for all of the prayers! I can’t wait to tell about my experience either! Keep ’em coming and thank you so much!

  5. Hi my son,
Loved reading everyones blogs and your response. I sent Sharla a note and said she was the lucky one to receive the note from me but after reading everything you wrote couldn’t not send something to you! Praying for your medical clinics, another amazing experience for you! I feel so blessed to have my children give of themselves and experience God’s presence in their lives.
Just think, Dad and I handed the torch to the two of you! Remember Jim’s sermon last Sunday?
Never thought 6 or seven years ago when we went to Guatemala or kids would follow in our footsteps.
Your family is doing good, missing you like crazy though. Paezli, says Hi da everytime I am talking on the phone to Kari.
Praying for safe travels on Monday. Have a blessed rest of the week.
    Love you,

    • Great to hear from you Mom! Thanks for the awesome words. This has been such a wonderful experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat (although next time I’m bringing my wife with me!!!). Can’t wait to get home and fill you and Dad in on all of the details. WAY too much to type in here … but both medical clinics were a huge success. We had a bit of a roadblock today, but it all worked out the way God wanted it to. Scott MacDonald has all the details if you haven’t heard them already since I was able to text him as things were unfolding. So looking forward to seeing my familia and you guys on Monday and can’t wait to share with all of you. Love you too … see you Monday!

  6. Chad, happy to hear your doing well, I know this is a lasting experience for you down there as well as when you get back to the states. Can’t wait to hear your stories.

    • Can’t wait to share them Ross! This is definitely an experience that will last a lifetime and I want to make sure that what I have learned here never fades. See you soon …

  7. Chad – Trusting the your time in Guatemala is something deep and wonderful in so many ways. Really like your perspective on life – so it sure will be good to hear your stories and insights when you return. Have a blessed final few days. – Pastor Jim

  8. Chad, I am so glad you were able to go on this trip. I hope you find it as rewarding as I did. Know there are many people praying for you and the team as you go into the last night of Medical clinics and devo’s tomorrow night. I look forward to hearing your stories.

    P.S. How’s it feel to be a non-smoker?

    • Hey Scott … thanks for the message! Glad you had our backs tonight and glad I could reach out home to rustle up some prayer warriors. Can’t wait to share all of the stories … this has been more rewarding than I can express here. So far so good on the non-smoking thing! I have barely had time to even think about it!
